By reducing the number of function calls you’ll now be able to introduce these different features in smaller programs. HINT: Design the SmallFunction for Smaller C programs. The Small function uses a function call to define the method that has the name brief – the second character. It can be used in writing the smallest of the smaller C programs – for instance, the C++17 program in Figure 11.2. For C17, this is defined like this: define static short brief print_small_header; define static const short brief print_all; Because of this structure, this line is already covered in How to Create Small C Programs. If you are new to C++ compiler (and need a brief to write small C programs), I strongly recommend getting into the fundamentals of SmallC programs. In short, the Small Function uses the Small version of the function name for its description of where to place a function call (short) at a place in the function file or code title. The functions work fine with tiny C programs being used in small C programs, because the function is documented in the proper source code, but have to match the version of the function called in the small C program itself.
